Hurricane Harvey: How You Can Help

Posted by Jackie + Evan on

Being native Houstonians and lifelong Texans we want to do everything we can to help our friends, families and anyone who has been affected by Harvey. Here are some ways that you can help:

Team RubiconTeam Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.

The FOH Army - They do dope shit. They always find real ways to help people. Send money via PayPal: or via Venmo: Shea-Serrano.

Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund - Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner has established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund that will accept tax deductible donations.

JJ Watt - JJ is a real life superhero in the city of Houston. He's giving back to the city who has embraced him like one of their own.

Houston Food Bank and the Food Bank of Corpus Christi are asking for donations.

Along with the American Red Cross, local organizations accepting blood donations are Carter BloodCare and the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center.

Airbnb has set up an urgent accommodations site, where people can open their homes to evacuees from the storm or find shelter themselves. Service fees are waived for those who check in by Sept. 1.
